CASCIERI 17: Lectureship in the Humanities
Steve Badanes "Jersey Devil: Architect as Artisan"

Please join us on Friday, March 13th, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Cascieri Hall, 320 Newbury Street.

The BAC Alumni Association is pleased to welcome nationally recognized architect Steve Badanes as the keynote speaker for the 17th annual Cascieri Lecture. Badanes is a founder of Jersey Devil, a collaborative of architects, artists and inventors based on the model of medieval craftsmen. Jersey Devil's design/build projects and work with students for non-profit clients has attracted international attention and is known for innovative use of materials and energy efficiency. The lecture will explore design and making, climate responsive building, community outreach education, and courage in architecture.

Each year, the BAC welcomes a speaker whose vision and philosophy are consistent with the spirit of humanism that was exemplified by Dean Arcangelo Cascieri. The Cascieri Lectureship
in the Humanities was established in 1992, on the occasion of the Dean's 90th birthday. The lecture is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Connie Ferreira at 617.585.0284
