Construction has begun for the 2009 Solar Decathlon house on Tufts Campus in Medford, MA. The team is working on weekends on our site located behind 62 Talbot Avenue throughout the summer. Anyone is welcome to come out and to help with building the house regardless of affiliation and experience level – there will be people on site to help teach and guide as things progress. The concrete has been poured and the framing and roofing have begun, but there is plenty more work to be done. The team plans to work through the summer leading up to the competition in DC mid-October.
If you would like to be a part of construction or have any questions, please contact Michelle Stadelman to volunteer.
