"Roots of Modernism" - May 28-31- Boston

The American Institute of Architects will be hosting a conference in Boston, May 28-31, 2009, which will explore the roots and legacy of Modern design. Presented by the AIA Committee on Design, “Roots of Modernism” will challenge attendees to debate the successes, failures, and future of Modern architecture. Attendees will also tour works by early modern masters and contemporary design leaders including Sert, Corbusier, Aalto, Saarinen, Gehry, Pei, KMW, and Foster.

This event will be an excellent learning and networking opportunity for art, architecture, and design students. Recognizing this, the AIA is offering a special student rate of $75 (the regular AIA member rate is $595).
