Five Boston Architectural College students won Design Build Challenge 2009, which was held June 18-21.
The three-day design and construction competition, held in Boston this year, addressed the flight of families from local urban neighborhoods. Participants were asked to respond to the social, economic, and environmental issues related to this issue.

The winning team created colorful information plaques for their client, the Codman Square Medical Health Center in Dorchester. The design engages the local community and is practical, functional, and beautiful, criteria for a successful project.

Design Build Boston was hosted by the BSA, Common Boston and Project Locus.
