Featured Firm :: Olsen Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects

Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects is a Seattle firm known primarily for its integration of modern forms that blend artfully into remote, natural settings of the Pacific Northwest. The firm’s work - museums, academic buildings, exhibit design, interior design, places of worship and residences, often for art collectors - is a seamless blending of architecture, art, and craft; community involvement; and attention to sustainable design.

OSKAA began with architect Jim Olson, whose work in the late 1960s explored the relationship between dwellings and the landscape they inhabit in the Northwest. In 1996, Tom Kundig and Scott Allen joined Olson and Sundberg as owners, taking the firm to another level of creative exploration and helping it grow into an office with an international reputation. The firm now numbers over 85 employees.

OSKAA was recognized by the American Institute of Architects with its 2009 AIA Architecture Firm Award.
