NESEA will be hosting a Student Design Competition at the Building Energy 2010 conference in Boston, MA. The competition will be focused on the revamp of a large, abandoned 19th century building located in historic Portsmouth, NH. The objective is to create energy efficient housing units and commercial spaces that do not sacrifice on aesthetics, occupant comfort, or affordability. Competition requirements will force students to think holistically about their designs and how energy will be conserved.
