Scholarship :: Richard Painter Scholarship :: Due Friday, October 16, 5pm

The Richard Painter Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that was established in July of 2001 in honor of Richard Painter, a principal at Beacon Architectural Associates. Beacon principals recognize the demands of working and studying full-time, and hope the scholarship will inspire students to continue progression towards the completion of their program of study.

To be eligible to apply for the Painter Scholarship students must:
• Be enrolled in the BID, B.Arch, BDS, or BLA programs
• Have completed at least two semesters in the Concurrent Program by May 2009
• Be receiving Financial Aid (can include Stafford Loans)
• Be in good academic standing
• Submit a 250-500-word essay about their experiences balancing academics and practice at the BAC

Please submit your essay by e-mail to Kendra Leahy or drop it off at the Student Affairs counter to the attention of Stefan Scott by 5pm on Friday, October 16. Please remember to include your name and the full name of the scholarship on your submission.
