Designs for Domestic Architecture from Historic New England
at The Boston University Art Gallery

The exhibition features 100 drawings of houses selected from the rich collections of Historic New England. The drawings range in date from the late eighteenth through the twentieth centuries, depicting an array of domestic building types, from estates and modest single-family houses to summer cottages and typical Boston multi-family dwellings. The drawings document the development of the architectural profession in America.
