ENFORCED BY POPULAR DEMAND There have been several complaints from BAC community members about the quality of the environment in the BAC computer labs and classrooms. This reminder of standard policy comes from all BAC students who would like to use this shared resource without encountering unfortunate circumstances.
- CELL PHONE CONVERSATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE COMPUTER LABS AND CLASSROOMS
Please be considerate of others and take your phone calls into the hallway or in the loft. Even if you think you are talking quietly, you are actually annoying people all around you who are trying to get their work done.
- FOOD AND DRINK ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE COMPUTER LABS AND CLASSROOMS
Nobody likes to sit down at a desk which is sticky with somebody else's snack refuse. Beverages and keyboards do not mix. Please eat food and drink beverages in the loft or in an actual café. Please remember to leave your area tidy when you are finished using the labs.
- DOWNLOADING EXTENSIVE DATA IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE LABS
Use of “torrent”-type sites and large downloads make your computer labs vulnerable to virus attack, and they unnecessarily block others from doing their intended work.
