Raycounting, Light-guided form generation, Neri Oxman
The work presented hints at a myriad of possibilities for the future of design learning, including: thinking through parametric modeling, working collaboratively with real clients in local communities, defining “research” to provide knowledge to inform and shape the design professions, differentiating between the necessity for sustainable design and the market hype for “greening,” and understanding changes in business and project structures that may affect design practice.

The exhibition invites participation through an interactive website at as well as with a location for the viewers’ own commentary and visions of the futures of design learning.

Change Order was also a symposium held on November 16, 2010 at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.
