One doesn’t usually think of a water tower as an integral factor in the urban landscape. But what if that thinking was modified? How could water towers be used to impact the city if not used as water towers? The Water Tower Projects asks competitors to answer the question of what could water towers accomplish if they were “integrated and reinterpreted within our urban fabric”?
Location: Portland, Oregon
Goal: Improve the water storage facilities within the Portland metro area.
Who: Participants over the age of 18, individually or in groups.
When: Registration – February 15th 2011
