The IIDA New England Forums Committee is pleased to announce a special tour & case study presentation of Tufts University School of Medicine Sackler Center Renovation presented by the the design team of DiMella Shaffer.


Please join us for a panel discussion and guided tours of Tufts University School of Medicine Sackler Center. The Sackler Center is the hub of the School of Medicine providing graduate studies for Biomedical Science education preparing graduates to be future leaders in research, teaching, biotechnology and other science-based careers.


The building renovation was the outcome of an intense programming effort between DiMella Shaffer and the Tufts School of Medicine that helped shape spaces to accommodate the school’s new problem-based teaching methodology.


Our program will feature an interactive panel discussion of the programming process and design outcome followed by guided tours of the new Library, Cafeteria and Learning Communities, Classrooms and Fitness Center.
