Designed in Boston: A Journal-History of the Boston Architectural College

Designed in Boston:

A Journal-History of the Boston Architectural College
by Don Robert Brown, AIA Emeritus, celebrating the first 120 years of America's Concurrent Design School.

As one who has a special connection with the school, you share the values and legacy of the BAC - a place where students learn about design in the context of practice. Designed in Boston will be an important book for you - and for students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and supporters - to understand the remarkable contributions the school has made to the profession, our community, and our personal lives.

Designed in Boston - "the Brown Book" - is handsomely designed to include 350 pages, with color illustrations, and an elegant binding. In order to raise the necessary funds, we are taking pre-publication orders of $100 per volume of Designed in Boston. We will publish the names of all donors who generously contribute $1,000 or more in the front of the book; all donors and pre-publication subscribers will be listed in Practice Magazine.
