BAC Interior Design Society Election Results



Sarah Boisselle - President


Almost a New England native, Sarah spent the first eight months of her happy life in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She then spent the duration of the next twenty-eight years in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In the beginnings of her youth, Sarah graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor's Degree in Desktop Publishing in 2004. She then worked in sales at the Boston Herald. Sarah worked in recruitment for a few years, and then moved on to a small print design firm in Assonet, RI. Sarah worked on campaigns for lucrative companies such as OceanSpray, Sepracor and Cognex.

Sarah currently lives in Boston, and studies in the concurrent program at the Boston Architectural College getting a Masters of Interior Design. She served as IDS Vice President over IIDA for the Spring 2011 semester. She currently works as a design consultant at Tile Showcase. She is excited to fulfill the role of President of the Interior Design Society this school year.

Nicole LaPietra - Vice President - ASID


After growing up in Howell, NJ, Nicole graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's in Business-Marketing. She then took her new found skills and worked in financial services for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and then for the PNC Financial Services Group. Upon realizing what her life was missing in September of 2009, Nicole moved to the majestic city of Boston to attend Boston Architectural College, where she will be starting her fifth semester this fall. Nicole served as IDS Vice President over ASID for the Spring 2011 semester, and will continue her service through the 2011-12 school year.

Jamie Stuono - Secretary


Jamie is getting her Master’s of Interior Design at the Boston Architectural College, where she will be starting her fifth semester this fall. Jamie is originally from New Jersey. During her undergraduate, Jamie studied communications and psychology at UMass Amherst. Jamie’s passion in design is hospitality with a strong interest in all things sustainable. She served as IDS Secretary for the Spring 2011 semester, and will continue her service through the 2011-12 school year.

Consult with Becky Anderson, Coordinator of Student Activities, if you are interested in participating. The opportunity to serve will benefit your academic and professional experience at the BAC and in the future.
