Brinkmann Competition :: BAC Representatives

Two Interior Design students, Megan Thompson and Andy Vieira, have been nominated to represent the Boston Architectural College in Gensler's 2012 Brinkmann Scholarship Competition.

They move on to the next step, in which Gensler will select finalists based on design ability, presentation creativity, and academic excellence. Genlser's competition brief states that they "are in search of creative rigor...based on deep and thoughtful research." The scholarship was established as a memorial to Don Brinkmann, an inspirational and gifted designer who personified the essence of design vision and leadership.

Crandon Gustafson, Head of the BAC's School of Interior Design, noted both Megan and Andy met the Gensler challenge to create "bold, memorable and provocative spaces" and to "push the boundaries of creative expression and refined execution."

Good luck, Megan and Andy!
