2012 Boston Society of Architects Scholarship

Design Competition
$1,000 Prize

The Boston Society of Architects Scholarship was established in 1949 through the generosity of the BSA.  The financial assistance is intended to "…relieve the burdens of routine preoccupation in the office and private life, and to provide an opportunity to see the world, witness its reality, critically examine its achievements and take time out to think."

The scholarship will be awarded based on a week-long design competition administered by Ian Taberner, Director of Masters Thesis.  A $1,000 prize will be awarded to the winner upon the completion of the competition.

To be eligible to apply students must:
-Be enrolled in the B.Arch or M.Arch Program at the BAC,
-Be registered for the current semester and in Good Academic Standing
-Have attended the BAC for at least two years
-Currently be in Segment III of their program

Ian will conduct a competition and site visit meeting next Thursday April 26 at 5 pm at 100 Mass. Ave., room TBA. Submissions will be due on Thursday May 3  by 7 pm and may be turned in at the Student Affairs desk located on the 3rd floor of 100 Mass. Ave.
