Sarah is an urban planner and graphic designer at Sasaki Associates. She joined the firm in June 2010, and is currently the Planning Sustainability Coordinator for the planning and urban design disciplines. She holds a Master of City Planning degree from MIT, where she focused on Environmental Policy and Planning.
At MIT, she was a researcher on the Urban Sustainability Project, which examined how cities could evaluate the impacts of emerging sustainability initiatives. Her thesis focused on how cities decide to adopt innovative policies, specifically looking at how Philadelphia adopted a green infrastructure approach to stormwater management.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a B.A. in Linguistics and a B.S. in Conversation and Resource Studies.
