On March 30, 2012, BAC students, Sara Bourque, Master of Landscape Architecture candidate and Megan Lorenz, Master of Architecture candidate, represented the BAC at the Broadway: 1000 Steps, Academic Partnership Colloquium, in New York City.

Broadway: 1000 Steps is a collaborative initiative to establish Broadway as the new ‘green corridor’ of New York City. Academic Partners participating include the BAC, Parsons, MIT, University of Virginia, Penn Sate, CCNY, Pratt and Marymount.

Each school presented their approach to the project, displaying unique methods of analysis and painting a comprehensive picture of what Broadway encompasses visually and culturally.

Sara and Megan presented their analysis on the BAC’s project site, which encompasses the area-surrounding Lincoln Center, at 64th Street and Broadway.
