Exploring Boston’s Historic Maps

Join the Boston Society of Architects as Alex Krieger FAIA, professor at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, discusses Boston’s development and morphology through various illustrated historic maps in the Leventhal Map Center.
With its opening last year, the Center fulfills the mission of creating a home for Boston Public Library’s permanent collection of 200,000 maps and 5,000 atlases,rare maps collected by Norman B. Leventhal. Seating is limited.
