Relief 2.0, an organic movement of volunteers and organizations to promote efficient disaster response and sustainable disaster recovery is holding a photo exhibition and talks at Adromeda Gallery to create awareness of the current situation facing the tsunami survivors in the Japanese Tohoku region.
All profits from sales made during the exhibit will be used towards buying art and handicrafts made by the survivors of the Tohoku Tsunami. The organizers intend to empower the tsunami survivors with the means to support themselves and continue rebuilding their lives, and contributing towards restarting the devastated economies in the stricken areas of Japan.
The photo exhibit will display from 22nd - 23rd June, will feature photos by Robin Low, co-founder of Relief 2.0. The photos will showcase on the tsunami affected areas in the Tohoku region of Japan. This is the first of such exhibitions in Boston, and the exhibition will also include talks by Relief 2.0 to share awareness about the current progress of the recovery in the Tohoku region.
