|Prospect Park overlooking downtown Providence|
Looking to go somewhere outside of Boston for not a lot of money? Hop on the commuter rail or drive down to Providence, RI.
Walk around the College Hill area, check out some of the art museums, and galleries. Thayer Street is known for having cool shops, and you can't forget to pick up some pizza from Antonio's. Then head over a few blocks to Prospect Park, which sits on the edge of College hill, and overlooks the downtown area. Don't worry, there are plenty of benches to sit, chat, soak up some sun, and of course sketch.
