Some may know the 1912 building facade in Downtown Crossing as one of only three structures left in New England designed by famed American architect Daniel Burnham, but most Bostonians affectionately recognize the building as the flagship Filene's specialty store.
Join The Boston Preservation Alliance for an illustrated lecture by author Michael Lisicky to hear highlights of his research on Filene's, the revolutionary store that brought fashion and theater to generations of Bostonians.
