On Wednesday, October 3rd, The City of Quincy and WalkBoston invite you to join in on the fun and learn about numerous historical sites throughout the city of Quincy. The tour will be lead by Jim Edwards, President of Holmes & Edwards Architecture, and Ed Fitzgerald, Executive Director of Quincy Historical Society.
The walk will allow you to visit fourteen historic sites including the Thomas Crane Public Library (1882), Hancock Cemetery (1640), Adams Commercial Building (1880), and many more. The guided tour will end at Sully's Tavern (1874), where walkers will enjoy the last history lesson of the evening and will be invited to stay for beverages and conversation.
