Some of her famous international work is seen at the Bridge Pavilion in Spain, the Bergisel Ski Jump in Austria, and the Vitra fire station in Germany. More close to home, Hadid's first American work is the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Besides her work in architecture, Hadid has dabbled in interior architecture and product design. She's designed interiors for private homes, clubs, and even the Millennium Dome in London.
Hadid's also worked with the clothing brand Lacoste to create a new, high fashion boot and also worked independently to create the Moon System Sofa, now being sold by the leading Italian furniture manufacturer B&B Italia.
In 2004, Hadid became the first female and first Muslim recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize (architectures equivalent to the Nobel Prize). Then in 2008, she ranked 69th on the Forbes list of "The Worlds Most Powerful Women".
