The Boston Architectural College is pleased to announce that The Bachelor of Design Studies (BDS) in Sustainable Design was recognized by Azure Magazine in Higher Education, an article that identifies innovation in design education.

The article lists top programs by discipline, recognizing the BDS in Sustainable Design at the BAC as one of five programs in the Sustainable and Social Design category.

The article reveals that an interdisciplinary program is among the most valuable trends in design education, and that practical skills are valued more than any other skillset by professionals when hiring new graduates.

"The program offers students the flexibility of a wide array of design disciplines to prepare graduates for professions in emerging design fields," said Don Hunsicker, Head of the School of Design Studies. "With an emphasis in developing design thinking, students cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills applicable to many careers."
