The BAC is pleased to celebrate The Sinclair, a new rock club/restaurant hybrid designed by StudioTYAK, Boston's up and coming hospitality and residential design studio founded by alum Stephen Martyak. This 525-person rock club and 104-seat restaurant in Harvard Square, designed to reflect the transience of the American musician, provides a unique experience for music lovers and foodies, alike.

Stephen Martyak launched studioTYAK LLC in the fall of 2012, and with the opening of The Sinclair, this multi-disciplinary design studio was able to make an imprint on the city within a few short months. Under Stephen's leadership, the studio continues to develop its portfolio with projects including the tattooed OSushi in Harvard Square, the refreshed Da Vinci in the Back Bay, and Brian Piccini's highly anticipated Boston Chops in the South End.

Stephen is an associate member of the Boston Society of Architects, a founding member of Design Museum Boston, and adjunct faculty at the Boston Architectural College, where he has taught a multi-disciplinary design studio. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Design Studies for the Boston Architectural College (Valedictorian) and a Professional Master of Architecture Degree from Savannah College of Art and Design.
