The first general body meeting of the Spring 2013 semester for American Institute of Architecture Students was one of the busier meetings we have had this year. There was a great deal of events we went over and this upcoming semester displays the promise of AIAS becoming a great resource for BAC students.
Much of the time in the meeting was allocated to our upcoming Quad conference. From March 22nd-24th architecture students from around the northeast will be able to gather at Penn State to participate in workshops, lectures and an in-depth tour of Fallingwater which has gained much interest.
Furthermore, we announced that AIAS is having its 3rd Annual Bowling Night which will take place this upcoming Sunday on February 24th which is open to all BAC students. It is a great way to have fun and meet fellow students.
Finally we also announced an event to help out fellow AIAS members and architecture students at New Jersey Institute of Technology. The area around the school is still in the process of recovering from damage caused by hurricane Sandy and our AIAS chapter is enthusiastic about helping them out during the first weekend if spring break which is also open to all BAC students.
Please do not hesitate to attend our upcoming meetings to gain more insight on what AIAS is doing for you!
