I
thought this particular post was really interesting. He explains that
this band is known for making something very intricate sound simple. While this
is true for the music, it also holds true for the album art. While I’m sure I couldn’t
create a painting like that, at first glance you kind of think you can.
Although the painting is complex, your eye first goes to the big gestural
strokes that make up the person's legs. It's not until your eye goes towards
the edges that you truly realize how much effort and skill the painting
actually took while remaining free and gestural. Check it out here.

ISO50 was originally created as a personal portfolio site but it has become a combination of the design and music realms. Scott Hansen, the creator of this blog, is both a musician and a designer. He gives the blog a personal touch by including archived playlists and curated material that involves the crisscrossing of music and design. Over the years, this blog has progressed from a portfolio to the blog that it is today as well as a shop and a clothing line.
