Competition :: SariFIXATION

lallitara and the Council of the Arts at MIT are hosting SariFixation: A ReDesign Challenge to help turn waste streams into value streams. lallitara transforms secondhand Indian saris into one of a kind, unique and fashionable products. They are looking for a variety of designs to expand lallitara’s fashionable collection. lallitara will send contestants approximately 5 yards of reclaimed sari fabric to design and create products. Winning items will have a chance to be manufactured, promoted and sold on lallitara.com along with some fabulous prizes!

Registration is currently open and will close on April 12th, 2013 at 11:59PM EST* or when we run out of saris, whichever comes first!
