What is Studio Q?

Studio Q is your resource to the BAC's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & questioning community. Allies are also welcome to join in the organization.

Studio Q's mission is to strengthen the LGBT community within the BAC and throughout Boston through various social events and political activism.

Past events include social activities like bowling, visits to the ICA, and a trip to the Newport Mansions.

The organization also celebrates National Coming Out Day and has organized meetups for Boston's annual Pride Parade.

Studio Q collaborates with the Office of Student Development for Spirit Day - a day where millions of Americans wear purple as a sign of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth and to speak out against bullying.

This spring, they are also organizing activities around the GLSEN Day of Silence on April 19, 2013.

Are you interested in getting involved with Studio Q, or the Day of Silence? If so, email StudioQ@the-bac.edu, or join their Facebook page here.
