Event Recap :: Stand Against Racism

On Wednesday, April 24th and Friday, April 26, 2013, the BAC participated in the YWCA's Stand Against Racism for the second year.

Stand Against Racism is a movement by the YWCA that brings together like-minded organizations that share in the YWCA's vision of eliminating racism and celebrating the richness of diversity.

We asked student, staff, and instructors at the BAC to think and write down why they stand against racism.

This year, 68 people from the BAC community participated in our Stand Against Racism, some choosing to make a sign, and other choosing to be photographed with their sign. It was a great moment for reflection, and for our community to come together.
