Free Fun Fridays :: 7.19.13

Free FUN Fridays (sponsored by the Highland St. Foundation) invites you to visit designated cultural attractions every Friday this summer with free admission. No registration or tickets required. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Free attractions for Friday, July 19, 2013:

JFK Library and Museum
Visit this I.M. Pei designed building on Columbia Point and see the special exhibit, To the Brink: JFK and the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Reagle Music Theatre
First come, first served tickets to the 7:30 performance Fiddler on the Roof will be offered at 8am at the box office. There is a limit of 5 tickets per person and children under 5 are not permitted.

Buttonwood Park Zoo 
While much of this New Bedford zoo focuses on wildlife found in Massachusetts, their collection includes animals from around the world.

Danforth Art
Showcasing American art from the country's beginning to today, this Framingham museum is currently showing community artists and Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller, one of the first African American female sculptors of importance.

Hancock Shaker Village
Located in Pittsfield, you can see a different way of life as you learn about the craft of this unique social and religious group. 

Garden in the Woods
An amazing collection of New England flora, this garden boasts over 100 rare and endangered species.
