BAC Design Competition :: Wayfinding

Practice Hours Available/Winning Entry eligible for $600 Scholarship

Do you see a problem with the way information is displayed on the BAC campus? Is it clear where to go? Is there consistency? Does the Boston Architectural College identity come through in our signage and graphics?

In Wayfinding in Architecture, environmental psychologist Romedi Passini expanded the concept beyond signage and graphics to encompass the clues inherent in a building's or site's spatial grammar, logical space planning, audible communication, tactile elements, and provisions for special-needs users.

This competition is for BAC students only. Entries are due by 5 pm on October 2, 2013. Judging and production of prototype signs will happen by October 15, 2013.
