Free FUN Fridays (sponsored by the Highland St. Foundation) invites you to visit designated cultural attractions every Friday this summer with free admission. No registration or tickets required. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Free attractions for Friday, August 30, 2013:

Plimoth Plantation
Relive the 17th century lifestyle in this complex of colonist's village and Wampanoag huts. Join in crafts and cooking for a day of true retro living.
First-come, first-served tickets for two (10am and 2pm) performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream will be available at the box office two hours before each show.

It's no surprise that this museum holds the largest collection Norman Rockwell's work, but it also boasta a large colection of American illustration and animation ready to explore.

The Discovery Museums
Built as a place for children to learn as they play, the Discovery Museums allow all ages to learn lessons of science.

Though the planetarium is still ticketed, this interactive museum space includes a simulation exhibit of Mt Washington and myriad creative design projects for kids.

The Mount: Edith Wharton’s Home
Enjoy the wonderfully landscaped grounds and outdoor sculpture on this self-designed estate by Edith Wharton. Stick around after hours for free live music featuring a jazz jam session.
