Free Fun Fridays :: 8.9.2013

Free FUN Fridays (sponsored by the Highland St. Foundation) invites you to visit designated cultural attractions every Friday this summer with free admission. No registration or tickets required. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Free attractions for Friday, August 9, 2013:

Boston Harbor Island Alliance
Ferry service will run for free on a first come-first served basis. Check the Free Fun Friday website for more details.
Explore Boston Sports history with exhibits featuring Larry Bird's locker, the original Boston Bruin, and the Beanpot Trophy.
If you are interested in ships or the military --or both -- this is the place to go. You can walk in and around the four ships docked at Battleship Cove, as well as see a variety of naval exhibits on display.

Ocean Explorium
The Ocean Explorium offers a unique interactive experience, featuring marine life from local waters and around the world.   Touch life at the ray and shark exhibit, or dive into hands-on science at the Explorer’s Zone, offering experiments and crafts that are perfect for all ages. Admission is by advanced ticket only.

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
Free Fun Friday activities include a guided walking tour, live feeding demonstrations, a shark presentation, and art and storytime. For more info click here.
