Green Alley Opening Events
Friday October 18, 2013
Join us for a celebratory opening of the Green Alley, the centerpiece of the College's Urban Sustainability Initiative, and the kickoff of our 125th Anniversary year.
The BAC’s Green Alley project demonstrates the College’s commitment to the immediate and long-term environmental challenges facing the City of Boston and our Back Bay neighborhood.
The success of this project extends beyond the intelligent beautification of a single area of our campus to a replicable design with potentially far-reaching effects and includes the successful conclusion of the first phase of our geothermal system.
Greening the Alley: Issues and Solutions Symposium - 9 am - 10:30 am
Cascieri Hall, 320 Newbury St, 2nd Floor
A symposium to present the project’s development and execution. The Green Alley was completed in conjunction with the BAC's geothermal heat pump project, which will ultimately result in a significant reduction in the College's carbon footprint.
