Adeline Graves Fournier Prize

The Adeline Graves Fournier Prize was established in 1997 at the Boston Architectural College by her husband, Joseph Fournier, and her family. Adeline (Ada) Graves was a graduate and long-standing supporter of the BAC. She was a dedicated and caring friend of many generations of BAC students. This prize honors her great enthusiasm for life and art.

This prize rewards a meritorious student who demonstrates creativity, quality of work, and enthusiasm for sketching as a means of communication. $600 will be awarded to the first place recipient and $400 will be awarded to the second place recipient.

To apply, students must:
-Be enrolled in any degree program at the BAC
-Be in Segment I, II, or III and in good academic standing
-Have not previously won this prize
-Submit one current sketchbook with their freehand drawings, illustrating work and impressions gained while attending the BAC. Work from previous schools should not be included. Work cannot be done on a computer.

Please submit your sketchbook to Kendra Giannini, Manager of Honors and Awards by 6 pm on Monday, November 18, 2013. You may drop them off to her office on the 4th floor of 100 Mass. Ave.
