On Thursday, October 3, 2013, the New England design community elite attended the IIDA New England Fashion Show Benefit Gala.

This year's event, held at the Boston Convention Center, had the theme of XV: Aged to Perfection. Proceeds from this year's event will fund a scholarship for those studying interior design in the New England area.

The BAC team tied for Best School Entry! This was the third year that Boston Architectural College students had a team compete in the Fashion Show, and the first win by our hard-working teams. Their collection was called A Touch of Gold: The Crowning Moment of Perfection, and featured ensembles that transformed.

"It is said that King Midas's touch turned all that was special into gold. As Midas celebrates his daughters' 15th birthdays, he captures their perfection in an instant, gracing them with gold as they become women." - BAC IIDA Fashion Show Team

BAC students on the team were:
Eden Robards, President of the IIDA Fashion Show 2013
Nikitha Rayappa, Model
Jeannette Thulin, Model
Sarah Lyman, Model
Melissa Popvich, Model
Nicole LaPietra
Sarah Boisselle
Luis Fernando Araque

Special thanks to the BAC team's vendor Carnegie and Deb Evans Associates, and Meaghan DeCoste, makeup and hair. Special thanks to Patti Vaughn, BAC Director of Administrative Operations, for her support throughout the design process and backstage.
