Kingspan is holding a 2013 design competition for architecture students with a focus on how façade systems utilizing insulated metal panels (IMP) can be integrated into the design of an urban mixed-use building.
Unlike most competitions, the Gen K competition participants benefit from both a popular social vote as well as a review by a juried panel of architecture professionals.
To enter, students must be currently enrolled in a NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board) or CACB (Canadian Architectural Certification Board) accredited architectural program offering a B.Arch or M.Arch from an institution of higher education. Registration, submission and voting takes place on the contest website at www.generationkingspan.com.
Employees and family members of Kingspan® are not eligible to participate in the contest or vote in the social vote. Previous winners of Kingspan's Legacy Competition or Generation Kingspan competitions are not eligible to participate in the contest.
