Happy Veterans Day!

In November 1919 President Wilson proclaimed Nov 11th as Armistice Day to commemorate the signing of the treaty that ended World War One.

The day became a time to honor veterans who fought in World War One. In June 1954 legislation was passed to make November 11th a day to honor all veterans. To learn more about Veterans Day, click here.
