Veterans Day Card Making and Yellow Ribbon Pickup
Monday November 11, 2013 from 10 am - 6 pm
320 Newbury St Lobby, First Floor
On Monday November 11th, the US celebrates Veterans Day! Veterans Day is the day set aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in the US military - in wartime or peacetime.
Veterans Day is largely intended to thank living veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served - not only those who died - have sacrificed and done their duty.
Join us on Monday in saying thank you to veterans. There will be a table in the entry way of the 320 Newbury St. building from 10 am to 6 pm. At the table we will be giving away yellow ribbons that you can wear in honor of veterans and those who are currently serving in our military.
Along with the yellow ribbon there will be an area at the table where you can make cards that thank veterans for their service. The cards will be given to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.
