Preservationists strive to protect historic resources wherever possible. But when a building cannot be saved, what happens to the historic materials?

The details such as mantels, moldings, bathtubs, and bars are all important historic, cultural materials and, thanks to places like Restoration Resources, are saved and made available to bring history into your own home.

Join the Boston Preservation Alliance on Thursday, January 23, 2014 for music, refreshments, a raffle item, a photo booth, and a quest to identify treasures saved from historic homes and sites. This social event is free and open to the public, so grab some friends and bring them to the South End!

Restoration Resources is located at 1946 Washington Street, Boston.

Please RSVP to Alison Frazee, 617-367-2458
