The BAC is gathering a group of students to serve dinner to homeless veterans at The New England Center for Homeless Veterans.
The New England Center for Homeless Veterans (NECHV) was founded in 1989 and is a private, not-for-profit organization. The Center is one of the nation’s largest private resources for Veterans of every era who may be facing challenges and are at-risk of homelessness.
- Volunteers will meet at 320 Newbury St at 4 pm to travel via T to the dinner site.
- Dinner is served from 4:45 – 5:45 but usually lasts an hour.
- Hair must be tied back and baseball caps must be worn, or paper kitchen caps will be provided. Aprons and gloves will be provided.
- Casual attire is appropriate but no shorts, sleeveless shirts or tank tops, and no open-toed shoes or sandals, in order to comply with health code.
