On Monday and Tuesday, November 24th and 25th, first-semester day students had their Foundation/Transdisciplinary Studio 1 final reviews.
Bachelor's students were asked to explore and analyze how the cultural and physical parameters of each character - place occupants - interact and inform the other. The designed responses incorporate analytical information and are structured in logical sets of intentional, spatial characteristics.
Master's students were asked to make series of spaces compatible for people experiencing art, placing individuals and groups in relationship to the art with clear intention communicated through spatial composition, view, and threshold. Sites for both projects are in the Back Bay.
