Boston Police Dept. Community Alert

Boston Police are interested in the identity of the person pictured above in connection with a series of larcenies that occurred in the areas of 190 Newbury Street (Stephanie’s on Newbury) and 181 Newbury Street (Joe’s American Bar & Grill) in the Back Bay, as well as a number of downtown restaurants during November and December. In these incidents, female victims reported that their wallets had been stolen from their purses while dining at the above establishments. The person of interest pictured was later caught in surveillance video at department stores in Cambridge, Newton, and Chestnut Hill using the victims’ stolen credit cards. The individual of interest is described as follows:
  • Female
  • White, non-Hispanic
  • 5’6”-5’7”
  • 30-40 years old
  • Long, brown hair
  • Heavy build
