Whether building new or restoring old, design has the power to create transformative change-environmental, social and economic-merging architecture, planning, and historic preservation for a new healthy and resilient world. From the restoration of a dozen National Historic Landmarks to the creation of whole city master plans and major new buildings, Jean Carroon, a principal of Goody Clancy, will illustrate how design can create places of opportunity, equity, and enhanced quality of life. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Jean is a Fellow of the AIA, a LEED Fellow, and the Vice President for Practice with the Boston Society of Architects.
