BSA Lecture Event w/ AIAS

What: BSA Lecture Event
When: 3.24.15 | 6-8pm
Where: The BSA Space, 290 Congress St, Boston

Join the AIAS BAC’s vice president, Alex Ho, at the BSA’s public evening event with Ji Lee. Hear Facebook creative strategist and StereoType artist Ji Lee explain how he hacks the linear and rigid systems of letters and alphabets by adding elements of playfulness, dimensions, and remixing to create his artwork. Also be on the lookout for mysterabbits, part of his guerrilla art project that involves placing tiny sculptures—in the shape of a meditating rabbit—in random public places across the world. Pick one up yourself, and be part of this campaign to encourage mindfulness in the moment! Lee is an award-winning designer with a playful and activist streak that comes out in his personal public art projects. His commercial career has also included positions as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi and a creative director at Google. In 2011, he was named one of Fast Company’s “50 Most Influential Designers in America.” Please contact aias@the-bac.edu if you have any questions or visit our FB page www.facebook.com/aiasbac
