In the BACkround
A series from Phil Reville, M. Arch Candidate
One of the greatest things about studying design is that it is quite literally everywhere. Yet, the very real design that is all around us too often gets lost behind the models and papers and digital files that consume so much of our time. In a new series entitled ‘In the BACkground’, the BAC blog will venture outside of the walls of 320 Newbury Street and 951 Boylston Street to seek out various works of design in and around the Boston area. Whether you need a break from your work or inspiration for it, In The BACkground aims to get you thinking about design outside of the classroom. Check back weekly for new posts about places you can visit, and feel free to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a great idea for a piece for In the BACkground.
