Fall 2015 Student Lecture Series :: Alive, on Earth
Wednesday, October 21 - 6pm
Cascieri Hall

The Boston Architectural College invites the community to join us for Alive, on Earth, a public lecture by Drew Seskunas, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 6 pm in Cascieri Hall.

Drew Seskunas is co-founder of the experimental design studio, The Principals, located in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to forming The Principals, Seskunas headed the Berlin architecture office of the Belgian artist Arne Quinze, most notably completing the 300,000 mixed-use project Bikini Berlin.

Exploring the boundaries of architecture, industrial design and fabrication, The Principals mine overlooked areas to produce the unexpected. In Alive, on Earth Seskunas will discuss The Principals' recent projects focused on the re-contextualization of the ordinary, including Dynamic Sanctuary, Snowblind, DELQA and airMOSH - projects that prompt the imagination to consider the vast amounts of time that have come before and that will come after, and to be excited and amazed that you exist right here, right now.
