AIA Architects League of Northern New Jersey Scholarships

The Scholarship Committee of the Architects League of Northern New Jersey (a section of AIA-NJ) is requesting your assistance so it may grant scholarships to deserving undergraduate and graduate students in an NAAB Accredited Architecture Program whose permanent residence is in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic or Sussex County in New Jersey. Scholarship amounts vary at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. This year’s total scholarship fund for undergraduate/graduate college students is in the amount of $6,000, which can be directed towards the following scholarships at the discretion of the Board of Trustees:
Current ALNNJ Scholarships include:
1. Clarence Tabor Memorial Scholarship Award. Given to undergraduate students entering their fifth and final year of Architecture, and is based on scholastic excellence, attitude toward the profession, probable success as an architect, and need for financial assistance.
2. Albert O. Halse Memorial Award. Given to undergraduate students for excellence in architectural delineation and/or architectural models.
3. Architects League Scholastic Achievement Award. Given to graduate and undergraduate students for scholastic excellence in architectural design.
Deadline: All applications and submittal requirements must be postmarked no later than noon on April 29, 2016. The award certificates will be presented in June 2016 at the monthly meeting of the Architects League. We invite those receiving scholarships to attend with their families.
